Bachelor in Pharmacy, it is well known by the short name B Pharma. Bachelor in Pharmacy is
the qualification required to practice or work as a pharmacist in India. Pharmacy is an ever

offering the opportunities to join health care team in safeguarding nation's health. Pharmacists
are healthcare professionals who practice in the field of pharmacy. They are knowledgeable
about drug therapy, different types of drugs (their composition, manufacturing process). The
program covers all the facets of healthcare including bio chemical areas that concerns the
preparation of medicine in implementing those for the right diagnosis. Students will learn about
the medicines and their effect on human body with details of chemical and organic properties of
all the elements used. There are different specialization like pharmaceutical chemistry,
pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmacognosy and pharmaceutical analysis.
